The manufacturing method of Nano200(chondroitin sulfate oligosaccharides) is patented in Japan.
The technology to reduce the molecular weight of chondroitin sulfate has been studied for a long time. Various methods have been proposed, including oxidative water splitting, enzymatic degradation, and photocatalytic methods, but unfortunately none have been put to practical use at the industrial level. Marukyo Bio Foods, in collaboration with the Hokkaido National Industrial Research Institute and Hokkaido University, has developed a completely new micro-processing technology and succeeded in mass production of chondroitin sulfate oligosaccharides at the kilogram level, which was impossible until now.

Currently, this technology is being further improved to produce a more bioabsorbable product of higher purity.
